- You’ve participated in over 50 weekly firm-wide meetings, where we socialize, plan the work week ahead, and dedicate time for educational moments, new learnings and sharing project progress.

- You appreciate the variety of project types you’ve been able to work on, from high-end restaurant projects to hospitality-forward healthcare spaces to single-family homes for lovely families.
- You take great satisfaction in contributing – every day – to the success of our projects and clients. Several of the projects you’ve worked on are already complete, you’ve seen the challenges arise and helped to overcome them, and you take great pride in the successful outcome.
- You’ve participated in many social events and led a couple. The events range from happy hours with curated spirits, to bracket-style tasting competitions, to lunches and dinners and fun off-site events with the team.

The Job Captain role is very important in our firm, it’s the foundation of how we communicate effectively through our work product to the broader project team. We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking Job Captain to be a competent, capable and supportive team member and to:
- participate in the design and execution of a variety of project types
- help plan, organize, and coordinate the production of high-quality construction documents
- generate project renderings
- constantly seek growth and develop into a role to help design and manage projects
You should be eager to bring a positive attitude every day, to learn from others, to share your knowledge and talents and to be an integral contributor to the team.
Job Captain Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an NAAB accredited school of architecture
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in architecture
- Strong design skills, strong production capability
- Proficiency with Revit software
- An intrinsic desire to work hard and a desire to derive meaning and satisfaction from your work

- You’ve gotten great satisfaction from leading small, capable teams on several impressive restaurant projects. You’ve leveraged your restaurant experience and considerable design and management talent to create successful projects for the client, team and firm.
- You’ve exhibited your formidable communication, management and people skills by keeping projects energized and moving forward. You’ve hitkey milestones despite a few curveballs. In light of your performance, you’ve made a raving fan of the client and helped the firm to further solidify a long term relationship with them.
- After growing familiar with the firm, you took on two mentees and met with them every other week, reviewing progress towards their goals and coaching them to carve a constructive path forward.
- You’ve set your own short, medium and long-term goals, and your first year of work at MMA has contributed significantly to these goals.

We are seeking an affable, dedicated, hardworking Senior Project Architect with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills experienced in restaurant and commercial interiors projects to be a competent, capable and supportive project leader. The role includes:
- Autonomously leading the management and in some cases the design vision of high-end restaurant and commercial interior projects
- Creating raving fans of our clients
- Helping mentor and guide the architectural staff
- Overseeing quality control of design and production documents and advancing our already well-developed firm standards and procedures
You should be eager to bring a positive attitude every day, stay humble, learn from others, share your knowledge and to be an integral contributor to the team.
Senior Project Architect candidate requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an NAAB accredited school of architecture
- 15 years of relevant experience in architecture, including a minimum of 10 years of restaurant and commercial interior experience
- Natural leader, clear and proactive communicator, strong management and design skills
- Proficiency with Revit software
- An intrinsic desire to derive meaning and satisfaction from your work
